Ignite Reading Platform: Classroom Portal User Guide
This document outlines the steps and instructions for students to access tutoring sessions.
Log In To the Ignite Reading Classroom Portal
Log in to Clever/Classlink. Students should log into Clever/Classlink as they normally do - through a password or QR code.
Select the Ignite Reading application. We recommend bookmarking the Ignite Reading application to keep it at the top of your screen for easy access.
The Join/Go page will appear. The top right corner shows the student's first name and last initial. When clicked, the student's full name will appear, allowing the teacher to identify which student is logged in.
Click the pink “GO” button. At the start of the session time, the "GO" button will change from gray to pink. Students can click the pink button to open the LessonSpace session.
A new tab will open up.
Allow audio/video permissions. Students should ensure that the two toggles (one for video, one for audio) are toggled to “blue” (and not “gray”). This state will allow the student to see and hear their tutors. (NOTE: These options may be automatically set from your IT point of contact).
Click the “Join” button to join Ignite Reading’s virtual classroom. Once selected, students will join the session in LessonSpace.
Log Out. The student can leave the session by closing the browser tab, closing the Go page, or selecting Sign Out. Please note that the student will remain logged into their account and will need to sign out from there as well.
